Anyway, I would enlist, if I could. Can't really speak for others. I'm not a reporter. I can only speak for the personal experience, and the whiners exist whether there's a war or not. The thrill, the novelty, the button-popping patriotism they almost felt is now gone, and the pencil-pushers and future earth-shakers of America are stuck hauling cargo at near-minimum wage overseas. Life's a bitch, and reality sucks (though not nearly as much as “reality television“).

Hell, these might even be the same punks who whine about leaving their precious bonuses for a two week drill.
