Thanks for the article and cartoons Don. I've always liked Paul Krugman, who was speaking out even before the rest of America began to see the the tricks and deception this administration uses to get what they want. Such an arrogant bunch, this Bush administration....
the "cream of the crop".
I'm GLAD Bush's ratings are beginning to fall, and I'm RELIEVED to hear journalists digging and asking the right questions for a change, without the fear of being "unpatriotic".
People are so gullible...or is it trusting?

And people who rely on television and the doctored and half-baked news are NOT behind the 8-ball. However, it IS heartening to see things finally coming to light months later, when (for some strange reason...;~), the newspapers finally pick up the story and PRINT it.
Amazing.
Justice in action. Oh, we might get these hucksters out of office, but then Bush will pardon them on his way out.
Demockracy in action.

The only thing in that article that makes me unhappy is the fact that our troops are tired and worn and demoralized, and we are unprepared for any real action, should we need them.
Bush didn't get OUR priorities straight, just HIS.
What a wimp, and an arrogant one at that.
Karma works though. For every action, there's a re-action.
And the elastic is heading back to sting him.
