We can do it. In spite of all the sniping, the Boom has an impressive ability for groupthink, and once we're old and have inherited our parents' money (and OH GOD, is there a lot of that!), we will be able to afford to be all noble and everything. It'll confer upon us the moral authority to boss everybody around, and that, after all, is what we want. ;)

Our next youngers aren't expecting anything except bills anyway, so they would be thrilled, and impressed, if we would do this for our grandchildren.

The agitation has to start now, though. Mental preparation and all that.
