That's what the Canadians will do to protect their citizens: slap a surtax on the drugs and require a special ID (issued only to Canadians) to get the tax excused. There will also be the usual restrictions on obtaining mass quantities so that some enterprising person can't become a drug-runner for American clients. NAFTA be damned.

There will be two pricing schedules: one for Canadians, and one for everyone else. If Americans still choose to purchase in Canada, taxes and all, because it's still less expensive to purchase there, what does this say about our pharmeceutical prices?
