Mr Vancil -
The reasons for the results which your the polls gave were set out above - question biases and the sampled populations.
Naturally you view these poll results as being quite honest and representative. But I point out once again that manned Mars flight was abandoned as a national goal after Mariner IV returned its images of Mars in 1965, and these programs had pretty much been shut down in its entirety by 1972.
Since these decisions reflect the will of the electorate, may I suggest to you just asking random individuals who you meet what their views on manned Mars flight are? I thinlk that you will find that the vast majority of people give it a fairly low priority, while they view dealing with the impact hazard a fairly high one.
