It never fails to amaze me why the American public thinks this group of good ole boys (friends and business associates of Pappy Bush) are anything but a group of well-heeled crooks and criminals. They get away with everything from money laundering to murder, and stick it under the national security umbrella.
Why, they can even pardon themselves when they get convicted!

Letting Poindexter run the Total Information Awareness Office was a nice land grab to TRY and run the country by having legal access to all their adverseries files (and trust me, there are MULTITUDES of them out there). And now trading futures based on death and destruction?? What?
Then they'd go out and buy all the insurance companies!

There is no end to their greed and aggression.
Actually, I think this was an INSIDE MOVE to have one of their stooges in place when the affadavits come down the wire to look into WHO PROFITED before 9/11, all the stock trades from American Airlines and the like, you know.......the stuff that hasn't beeen released yet.
And with one of their stooges sitting in that high office, they could actually launder (whitewash) any investigation into their criminal profiteering.
