Never said you damn well were, Frank ;-) But if 90% of what is posted here is 'political BS', then that sort of splashes on to what they are saying, or so it would seem to me.

Well, first, I was not talking about the war, but in a general sense- notice that
you wrote, originally: "I will probably be as likely to agree with you as you are with me"
As to the sense factor: Plenty of what you say makes sense, and I understand it and your position very well, or at least try to. Disagreeing with you, or finding logical flaws or moral flaws in your position is entirely different. I regret that you can't make sense out of my positions, but I think its not a lost cause that you could- as Tom and many others tend to have a pretty good grasp on them- even those who violently disagree with me.

I don't think that the person is trying to deliberately feed me a load of crap and I respect their right to believe what they choose but how they can believe it is incredible. It is like we are living in seperate realities."
There are maybe 4 or 5 consrvatives and about 3 liberals who I think hold entirely nonsensical beliefs (and the disparity in numbers, I think, comes from the fact that there are more conservatives than liberals here). I disagree with MANY MORE folks than the ones I hold as nonsensical. I honestly think you should read a litttle bit harder and attempt to understand their position. There is a difference between being wrong and being full of shit, or living in a seperate reality.
I don't agree that 90% of the posts here are political BS- more like about 10-20%, and all of it from a few consistent hacks that never question their operating orders or habits of thought. I don't think you can put "well thought out and clearly articulated" and "Political BS" together.
