Viewgraph engineering

Musk's rocket hasn't flown. Musk is better than most because he's doing this on his own nickel. Lots of people have promised access to LEO for $1000/kg and less. After separating gullible investors from their money, these people soon go Chapter 11. The Scout rocket was a successful launcher that actually put hardware into LEO. Years ago the Italians were buying Scouts from NASA and then launching them off the coast of Africa near the equator. Don't confuse Viewgraph/Powerpoint engineering for the genuine article. I'll be impressed after Musk's rocket is actually delivering payload to LEO at less than $10,000/kg full cost. Talk is cheap.
