4) Sort of like demanding personal accountability for lies and deception from a Democratic president, but twisting oneself into cognitive pretzels in order to avoid the conclusion that your Republican President has been dishonest.
Look up accused and convicted. Clinton and Nixon were convicted (admitted) liars. Bush will suffer the same if he is convicted. Until then it is no more than me being convinced that the guy in CA killed his pregnant wife.
1) Sort of like disdaining UFOlogists for their poor, absurd and pseudo-spiritual reasoning techniques, but using the same reasoning when it supports your political beliefs?
The UFOlogists have had 60 years to prove their case and their mantra is still "absence of evidence is not evidence of absence". I doubt that the WMD argument will persist for that long (counting down 14 months). Not to say that the true UFOlogists and conspiracy theorists won't still be talking about it even if they find conclusive evidence of presence.
The rest don't apply to me.
