Is JavaScript turned on in your browser? The surest way to get the static pages is to have scripting turned off, since it's scripting that selects the Nexus when you click the Table of Contents button (it's a failsafe design: Since the Nexus requires scripting, defaulting to static is the proper response).
Yes javascripting is turned on. I checked the security and it said High Safety. Maybe I should change HZ to a trusted site and downgrade the security.
Do you connect through a modem, or broadband? I'm wondering if there's a timing problem such that a script file isn't arriving in time to be used.
Broadband, but sometimes its sucks rocks. It has been pretty fast the last few days though.
Do you see any error messages? I'm interpreting your description to mean that this happens when you go from a message back to the TOC, so in particular, do you see error messages when the message page loads?
I always have errors on most websites, but i think it is mostly due to my pop-up stopper. I have pretty much just started ignoring them. Next time it happens I'll look at the errors. (and you are interpreting my description correctly)
Your browser identification includes "YComp", which means that the "Yahoo Companion" toolbar add-in for IE is installed.
When did you install it? By any chance did you install it coincident with this problem?
That is probably my Google Toolbar. I have had it for years and haven't changed anything with it recently.
The problem only occurs every so often when I hit TOC. Clicking on a message and then to TOC or by changing boards will always corrrect it. This isn't a major issue since the board is still functional, so no hurry.
