Waltzing into a war-zone with nil security, they die. Strong evidence the the U.N. Security Council knows far less about the goings-on of the Middle East than the U.S. does.
Believe it, or not...
While it is true that the U.N. and the U.S. need each other far more than either will ever truly admit, it is the U.N., I think you will find, that needs the U.S. far more than the U.S. needs the U.N.
It'll be a rough road for either side without the other, but far rougher for the U.N.,
