Whatever happened to the great speeches?
Why can we no longer have a "I have a dream...." or a "Ask not..." speech?
Even in the current days of the soundbite, why do no golden nuggets rise to the surface*.
"It's the economy stupid", while a great sounbite hardly ranks up there with "Free at last!".
Are we too jaded to see em, or have all the great lines been taken already?
*as mixed metaphors go, that was pretty bad
