Where is Mariner 9 and Viking in your history...Pathfinder and Sojourner reintroduced us to a Mars which looked and felt like the desert southwest of North America! And far from making manned mission's less likely it has increased the interest in manned missions. Let us see what transpires in January and maybe the next November before we bury manned Mars missions for this decade...
