My comment at the time was that the Taliban, in demonstrating such incredible cileness would be and should be swept from power. That the bad judgement they demonstrated in choosing to desecrate the statues would deliver massive negative karma against them.
If that makes me a hardcore 1st Amend. type, so be it. actually I think I am.....just possibly not as some here would define it.
And in fact some here did say we would fail in Afghanistan and that we should not go.
