Chris talked about making manned exploration of Mars biologically reversible at the Mars Society Convention in Eugene last month. This belies Barry's assertion that humans could go to Mars for a hundred years, because we might contaminate Martian life. The contamination issue can reasonable be described as a set of engineering problems.
