Yes Mister cut and paste science, this is how science works..lots of questions sometimes answers...often ones you didn't expect.

But, as McKay and others point out humans on Mars doesn't mean uncontrolled "contamination" of Mars or mankind. Thus we can go when we wish to. Not some hundred years from now as you keep saying...
