I LIKE a lot of conservatives.........we just usually DISMISS our politics, as it gets in the way of a friendship........
Listened to an old bud last night explaining the conservative (righteous) viewpoint about taxes, the war, militarism and the oil grab from HIS perspective. I was thinking "he could actually be Tom Brosz in disguise". Over here on HZ, we get freed by expression, and cramped by dialogue. Here, we hold someone's feet to the fire. Here we are outrageous (ie: Tom Brosz, etc....)
In person, the re-action is much more visible and out of politeness, we back off as civilized dialogue kicks in.....like changing the subject, talking about the weather, cars, etc...
I was thinking to myself......"he's making good points, this all sounds plausible.......but!"
Then I say "Well, only if you believe that imperialism and militarism is good"...
And we're off and running again into a myriad of sub titles.
