You need a valid ID to buy alcohol or tobacco, get a mortage, drive a car, rent a car, open a bank account, fly on airplanes, ride AMTRAK, take college tests, obtain a library card, cash a check, and ironically, apply for many forms of government assistance such as public housing.
This is just off the top of my head, and most of us could probably come up with other examples.
Yet, given the Democratic premise that somehow thousands and thousands of people are completely functionally unable to obtain a $7 ID every four years, why are there no complaints about all the rest of these services of everyday life excluding this remarkable class of people?
I'm trying to remember any of these functions, businesses, or organizations being declared racist for their ID policies. Nothing's coming to mind.
