Don't know about other papers
but I recall reading about the 170,000 retraction a month or so ago on or about page 2 of the Philadelphia Inquirer. Hardly hidden.

So is this just a case of selective reading or just plain ranting?
BTW - if you recall, it was the guy who ran the museum who said 170,000. So papers reported on that. I assume, like the Inky, they also ran his retraction.
10,000 missing is hardly nothing though.......
