re: Size increase-decrease
Fred Haise came to Antwerp in october 1981 and I had to see him (no pictures, unfortunately)
He said they could actually see the Earth shrink as they moved away from it (he didn't talk about the other way; perhaps they didn't look outside as their windows were covered with frost).
