Note: The inter-commissural distance Re: the ellipsoid (shown above) is clamed to be 90 light years!!! --- Not bad for a lepton-'sized' field 'generator'!!! ;)

My guess is that the image is that of a nascent/evolving galaxy??? --- Or, perchance, a 'mitotic' sea-anemone!? ;-)
