Hardcore Democrats may believe that 20/20 hindsight indicates an intentional lie because they hate Bush and want to believe bad things about him as noted in this weeks Time, but independents will see through that crap. We determine who gets elected, not you left wingers and rightwingers who will vote for whatever extremist nut your parties activist base nominates. You can continue to whip up this bogus frenzy and nominate some hardcore Bush bashing liberal just to shoot yourselves in the foot and give him four more years. Get a grip and focus on the tax cut issue and the economy not this bogus issue. I can and will strongly consider voting for a Democrat who shows more concern about the country as a whole than traditional Democratic constituencies, but I doubt very much you will nominate one this time around because hate is over powering reason. As Time also mentions "Political fevers are a dangerous thing, however. The Democrats last came down with one in 1972--and lost 49 states."
