re: The rest of the story

"Deborah Tannen, a Georgetown University professor of linguistics who has studied Bush's rhetoric, said it is impossible to know but "plausible" that Bush's words furthered such public impressions. "

Let's see: "impossible to know" and "plausible" furthered such public impressions.
This apparently confirms:
Robert says:
"Bush's deliberate deception is perpetrated by the rhetorical trick of juxtaposing two statements."
[As the cause of why most of American public think there could be a direct connection between 911 and Saddam.]

If some scientist said, "At this time it's impossible to know if any Aliens have visited Earth or our Solar system, but it's plausible that with more advanced technology that aliens could have visited Earth."

Robert apparently would see this as confirming evidence that our govt is run by the Grey Ones. And that wearing tinfoil hats is the only way to avoid the transmitted signals which brainwash everyone.
