Point taken. Who was that mute stroke victim Woodward "interviewed?" But the quote hasn't been specifically refuted by anyone in the Bush administration.
Of course, it might violate the quid pro quo agreement. I dimly recall the WaPo stumbling across some info shortly after 9-11, which the Bush admin asked them not to publish. Since then, Woodward's been getting lots and lots of access.
Regardless, it's an interesting quote, isn't it? I'm tempeted to call and ask.
