It's Michael Moore that justifies dressing up bald-faced lies as documentaries by saying "it's all a joke" when someone catches him out on it. Not Trudeau's normal M.O.

Besides, if the cartoon wasn't meant to point out a real issue, how exactly did Doonesbury "hit it?"
