re: Some hilarity . . .
Apparently telemarketing companies are complaining that the “do-not-call†bill attacks their right to free speech.
I was under the impression I had the freedom not to listen to people I, personally, choose not to listen to. Now, adding my phone number to the Federal “do-not-call†list is supposed to become a crime, so that I would have to receive and listen to unwanted commercials. Phone spamming is okay?
What tripe!
Makes me wonder why Ford, or Colgate don’t file a suit to get the mute button removed from my TV/Cable Service remote control.
