Not true: The helplessness our soldiers are feeling is indescribable
This is just not true. My son is in the AF, flies C-130s, and deploys every six months - first into Afghanistan from Pakistan during the Afghan war, now into Iraq from Doah, Qatar .. delivering troops, supplies and Spec Ops .. he is home for 6 months with his wife and child, and then gone for 6 months. His opinion and that of the men he serves with is that there are "whiners" in every occupation and unfortunately they are the ones who get interviewed. On the contrary he advises, the majority of the troops in Iraq do NOT feel that way.
