Sounds to my like Duffy is happy enough to do her duty, but that the duty is not making a lot of sense

Look I've been "yanked around and given no reason" for the past year, its part of being in the army. in fact it says in so many words in the enlistment contract she signed "you will be yanked around for no reason".

You want to know what the problem is? Well the armed forces has standards so low that it lets in people like this. This is like the girl in my Basic Training that kept bitching "but Drill Sergeant, our beds are tooooo smaaall!!" Its like the other girls who started crying when the Drill Sergeants knocked us back a phase in AIT. I feel no pity for her. NONE. She can call the "whaaaa"mbulance. Call the Chaplan, or better yet, not reenlist.
