I don't see how a losing runner hitching herself to the coattails of the trumped governor helps him at all, and the mere existence of Davis on the ticket helps Bustamente about as much as Clinton's presence at a fundraiser helped Gore in the oh-oh ('00) presidential run.

I thought her accent, though, was more like Zsa Zsa, or the late Eva (the true actress in the family -- the "good Gabor").

"I was the first actress in the family, and I am still the only actress in the family. I shouldn't be saying it, but it slipped out!"
"I ask myself more questions than Hamlet as I ponder which shoes to wear."
"Love is a game that two can play and both win."
"All any girl needs, at any time in history, is simple velvet and basic diamonds."
-- Eva Gabor (1919 - 1995)
