What Huffington declared was she was opposing the recall (something she was definitely against when she was running for the office, as the recall was “the first real chance in a generation for California to elect a progressive, independent governorâ€), and working for the defeat of Schwarzenegger (since she clearly dislikes the man -- or at least the actor).
As Davis is in favor of the exact same things -- opposing the recall and defeating Schwarzenegger --the media reports that she is supporting him.
Logical, but inaccurate.
