Current Events » in reply to And, as expected: Poll Shows Increased Doubts About Iraq War, Bush

re: As expected

It's funny. A lot of people here have weighed in about how Bush made statements leading people to make an erroneous direct link between Saddam and 9/11. They wave the polls around showing 70 percent of people believe this link is at least "somewhat likely." Yet there was never any direct evidence for this link. Funny, huh? The poll results are blamed solely on the public impressions made by Bush.

Now, under a constant, heavy, endless barrage--from the Democrats and their media buttmonkeys--of anti-Bush rhetoric, negative news from Iraq (while positive trends are spiked), and scandals manufactured from nothing, we amazingly find poll numbers showing drops in the pro-Iraq and pro-Bush positions. Could there be a link between the impressions of the war and the administration being pumped into the public and the poll results, so the results have nothing to do with any objective analysis of the situation?

Eehhhh...could be!
