One difference Sullivan missed
Andrew Sullivan missed one: Clinton was in danger of losing office because of his poor judgement. Arny, on the other hand, gained power in spite of his admitted bad, sexist, disgusting behaviour.
Would you have voted for Clinton after his dalliances became white-hot public knowledge? I would not have. But that's in essence what California's done: put a sexist, self-absorbed pig into power. Arnold's proven, time and again over the course of the last 30 years, that he has no problem abusing power and position. He's admitted to it.
