Well, someone has done one at the county level for the California Governor Candidates to replace Davis. I'd like to see one on the basic recall question, too.
According to some commentators, it seems the "LA Slime's" puke attack not only failed to work, it may have backfired. However, this source of exit polling data from the LA Times suggests otherwise. It shows that for those people who made up their minds over a week before the election, they supported recall by 56-44. Those who made up their minds more recently supported recall by 51-49. The final results were 55-45, so the accuracy of the exit poll may well be in question. Perhaps the most damning poll number was the one dealing with people's view on whether California was "going in the right direction" or "seriously off on the wrong track." Fully 72% of the people polled stated that California was seriously off on the wrong track, including 42% of the Bustamonte voters.
As for the groping charges, I've heard as yet unconfirmed reports that at least two of the alleged grope incidents didn't happen (the one in England and the woman who came forward on Monday were specifically mentioned) according to other people who were there at the time. At least other woman did have a connection to the Davis office contrary to what the paper claimed, and there are allegations that the Slime leaked the story to the Democrats before it was published.
What media bias?
Remember that "Red States" vs. "Blue States" map from 2000?
