You know the folks from CNN!

This is wonderful BS:

Poor people, minorities and people with little or no education -- arguably the portion of the electorate with the most to lose or gain -- stayed home

Look at this line carefully:

Exit polls reveal that most of voters who cast ballots in Tuesday's recall election were white, female, Republican, college-educated and financially comfortable, with more than half of interviewed voters reporting a household income of $50,000 or more.

This statement would be equally true:

Almost half of those interviewed reported an income of LESS than $50,000 of combined household income.

Folks... in California - the 25k per year husband and wife voters ARE the working poor!

They are not rich at ALL!

Total misleading BS to paint a race and wealth division. And whom are they trying to fool with their lies and misstatements? Ah, yes:

Poor people, minorities and people with little or no education...

In CA if you're earning 25k a year - you're not "financially comfortable" at all - you are one paycheck away from having your house foreclosed (if you are not renting), your car reposessed and your family is splitting a can of Chef Boyardee's "gourmet" spaghetti in four cups for dinner.

This to me illustrates that Dem Disconnect where the working poor are the "RICH" and only those who qualify for welfare rolls are REALLY poor.

What a farce!

These women who voted were the "smart" ones of the working poor who suddenly saw their DMV fees triple and their kids splitting the Swanson TV dinner onto two plates because of it and who have a bunch of delinquency notices in their mailbox thanks to that horses a-- Gray Davis.

The working poor recalled Gray Davis. Everybody knows it.

Trying to play race and money into this election is more of the Goebbels tactics all over again. However the working poor now see the Dems for what they really are: Tax and Spend crooks.

Thank goodness for Republicans and an end to the taxing the working poor to death. They unfortunately make one thing real clear - only the "dumb" working poor could vote for Davis or Bustamante.

Indirectly the media are confessing if you're voting Democratic - you're an idiot.
