At 46, I'm old enough to have lived through several recessions. In every one, employment has been a lagging indicator. Long after other economic indicators turn positive, creation of new jobs is something companies put off as long as possible.
So, the creation of 57,000 new jobs is a positive thing. Let's hope it continues. Perhaps, it's the end of the beginning.
