His misuse of “legalâ€.-- though supposedly controlled -- drugs is, according to our nation’s medical professionals, where the real danger lies, and the fact that he is receiving these illegally prescribed drugs without the use of a medical-mediator is where the true crime lies. However, this in and of itself, is still not a very "large" crime. In fact, it is very likely that this “minor†crime will be completely ignored by the investigating authorities. Even his supplying housekeeper has received legal immunity. The “large†crime distinction may be found at the far end of the Rush supply chain, a place known as “the sourceâ€, and it is there that the now-famous investigation is currently aimed, and where the aim will likely remain.
No matter your feelings, and no matter Rush’s feelings on the matter, no criminal charges are currently pending for the man. The investigators have already made known that what had been requested of Rush was information regarding suppliers of whom the investigators may currently be unaware. This, btw, is on hold, awaiting Rush’s return from rehab.
No further news is expected for at least 30 days.
Cheers,
Dan
