David Adair seems to have more mundane goals in mind with his work. Have your credit card ready. His technical knowledge seems to have large gaps visible to anyone with a knowledge of rocket systems and propulsion.
As for alien technology, I know of no existing technology in wide use that does not have a clearly marked terrestrial family tree.
There was an item about an IBM executive that interviewed a magazine in England and told them about alien tech being used in American technology. Just for fun I researched this one story, and found that there was no such IBM executive. There was no interview. In fact, the magazine itself did not exist. I imagine a lot of this kind of thing falls into this category.
Any blithering idiot can get on Art Bell's or Noory's show.
