I got your emails this morning. I've been offline since shortly after I posted my message Wednesday morning, when I was notified that my office was to be recarpeted and I had but a matter of minutes to shut down my computer and pack up.

I had just gotten several email complaints about Todd's execrable post on the Flame board, as well as one about your subject line "shit for brains". In my haste to wrap things up that morning, I went blond and collapsed both sets of complaints into one; and since the complaint about you was the last one I read, you got the entire brunt of it.

My sincere apologies for that. Your use of profanity in posts is rather restrained by comparison to Todd's (actually, Todd just set a new low by which everyone else's use of profanity is restrained by comparison). You deserved only the milder half of the censure regarding use of profanity in a subject line.

Again, sorry about that. I'll try to pay closer attention to the complaints I receive.
