Tet offensive
There may be big differences but the Tet offensive was a defining moment in the VNW. Johnson went into a bunker and left the media and the public to totally and finally disavow the war.
I have no doubt that the leaders of this flare up had Tet in mind when they planned the operation. If you have been watching the media they are also comparing with Tet.
The more they act out the more we degrade them and they don't have the resources of NVN or a Ho Chi Mien highway.
