Hope they get a break soon
Fires like these are devastating, as we in BC know. Over 600,000 acres were burned here this summer, and the costs of fighting them hit over half a billion dollars. Fortunately there were very few casualties despite hundereds of homes and many businesses being lost.
BC has offered experienced crews and top equipment to help fight the fires in California, but it seems that the only real break can come from the weather.
Good luck to all affected.
