Saddam confidant linked to terrorist group
From U.S.A. Today. Still sketchy, but evidence that the Baathists and Islamists are working together is mounting.
The last refuge of the "no terror links with Iraq" folks will now be that the Baathists and Islamists are only working together under the supreme duress of the invasion of Iraq.
This begs the question of why it would be impossible for them to work together under any other circumstances, but there it is.
