for the poor and elderly maybe
I don't have a lot of patience with young and poor not being able to mail a check or M.O. unless we are assuming that poor always means stupid.
For a good percentage of the elderly I can appreciate the difficulty of writing checks, remembering to write checks, getting stamps, buying envelopes, etc, etc, etc.
