For the record, there is at least one Arab Nobel Prize winner: Ahmed Zewail, who won the 1999 Nobel Prize for Chemistry. Of course, he is actually an Arab-American, and it's likely the author meant Arabs working in Arab countries. Obviously, Arabs who have immigrated to the United States have contributed much to our technology. I've worked with a few.
