re: According to an MSNBC test done on air last night . . .

A KFC meal, consisting of chicken (not extra crispy), coleslaw, and a biscuit = 1000+ calories -- or the daily suggestion of calorie intake. Even the amount in the cole slaw shook the testers.

I just ran a calculation from the KFC nutrition calculator, with a small meal of:

* 1 Original Recipe Chicken Breast
* 1 Biscuit
* Cole Slaw
* 1 Medium Pepsi

The result was 940 calories.

KFC is a nice diversion from the daily drudge of cooking, but please don't replace it. Home-cooked meals are generally less expensive, and better for you. After all, you know pretty much what went into it -- right?
