re: A note from Mr. Smartypants
When my sons wanted to drive, I didn't let them get their license until they turned 17. We didn't give them a car - we sold them the old Chevy my wife used to drive. They had to pay all the expenses including their share of the costs of adding them to our insurance policy. The payment was due the first of each month. If the payment wasn't received, I'd slip out and remove the rotor from the distributor. They never figured out how I disabled their car because I put the distributor cap back on. Had they known, they could've bought their own rotor for a few dollars. It pays to know a bit about engines.
