The Largest Database in the World - P2P - and the Trojan Horse.

As the former punk band the Clash might say...

"THIS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT" - WITH THE WEB!

Kazaa is one of the most downloaded programs in internet history. The lure of free movies and music has drawn hundreds of millions of computer owners around the world to download their software.

Did you ever stop to wonder how Kazaa makes big money on all this free transfer of files?

Kazaa is packed with a program called P2P and it monitors your ISP, every website you visit and every form you input and it sends this information to what has become the largest database in the world.

If you have kids it knows their names, ages, e-mails - it knows where you live, your addresses and phone numbers. It knows your friends, your business associates, your emails and it knows where you shop online and what you buy. It knows exactly how much time you spend on the web each day....and it has all this information multiplied times 100s of millions of people in the world.

I thought as a public service I would let this little secret out, because many are simply don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

If you want me to tell you who has access to all that information - I can't. But it's just now achieved the status as the largest personal database in the world and growing daily at an exponential rate that should give anyone a pause. Literally, this database is recording the lives of hundreds of millions of people and when any file is accessed - it takes all of five minutes to tell you that person or family's whole life story.

The Trojans didn't look a gift horse in the mouth and you see where they are today. The name has been adopted euphemistically by a maker of birth control to describe what really amounts to "inadequate protection" and is used literally to describe concealed danger.

A "Kazoo" is a worthless musical instrument that is blown by a piece of paper that vibrates inside it. The term stick it in your Kazoo is another derisive term that means something rather indelicate. If you think that I am suggesting the entire program was designed from the outset to make fools of the public...well...

...you'd be right.

Stick it in your Kazaa. Oh...how they laughed at the public's gullibility and patted themselves on the back for their ingenuity. Ha Ha Ha.

But this is serious, serious business.

Needless to say...the only safe to stick a Kazaa, or its ilk, is in a dedicated system used solely for such purposes.

Just one of the SDAI's FYI's for public consumption. Recently these HZ posts have been networked into the ICQ search engines and are popping up in title searches.
