Clue me in please......

Would someone explain to me a few things <G>.

If all the US’s problems in the middle-east are because of oil, and since we have has some 30 years to address the problem since the oil crisis in the 1970s, why do we seem to be not one step closer to a resolution?

Why are we not looking at things like this :

as well as solar and hydrogen?

A study done a year or so ago said it was feasible if it was given a Manhattan project approach.

This can’t be blamed on either political party individually, each has had power since the 1970s, but nothing was done.

Society must change from within, neither the president or the congress passed laws that people would drive cars instead of riding horses.

What do we as individuals need to do to change societies thinking?

Come on, if oil was not used for fuel it would be and is classified as toxic waste.
