There is no stopping it
One side has been screaming train wreck for years and the other has been pushing for more or less more and more.
There has been no train wreck but there has been some restraint.
Nothing will change as long as the systems continue to work. It will not be fixed until it breaks and if it doesn't break it must work. The Soviet system broke down and Orwell was wrong. We are humming right along so far. The question is, are we on a railroad track or falling off a skyscraper
Tariffs etc. will come and go with the stroke of a pen but some form of universal health care availability and universal education availability will always appeal to the modern majority. It appeals to me too. I just don't know how it works.
