The environment is far too important to be left to dogma

The environment affects us all, as do environmental laws. We need to make sound environmental laws based on science, not dogma. The unseemly and unscientific rush to pass treaties and legislation when the scientific evidence is lacking is a manifestation of religion, not science.

Religion is based on "revealed truth" that can't be questioned or falsified. This is the antithesis of science. When the hard core environmentalists stand by their assertions even when they're proven wrong, they're following dogma rather than science.
