The logistics of travelling to Luna are dramatically better than Mars. Your posit is a good demonstration of this.
A really big issue on the re-exploration of Luna is the highly abrasive dust. The Lunar excursion suits the astronauts wore took a lot of wear and tear in just the few hours they were actually used.
